Howdy friends!
After two years’ preparing for JAARS it feels like we’ve just been
shot
out of a canon onto the mission field! J
In
half a day Loren was signed in, ID badge, computer, phone, headset, etc. and
ready to get to work! WOO HOO! His first six months I will be on the “front
line” taking calls from Wycliffe members in Africa, Asia, and all around the
world. This will help him understand the
needs and systems MUCH better so he can help write and organize how-to
documents to help resolve issues faster!
“Nurse Michelle” began orientation and training at the JAARS
Health Clinic. She’s learning about things like malaria and yellow fever
vaccinations for missionaries going
overseas. Please pray for the clinic. They need volunteer doctors so they can
stay open more than 3 mornings a week.
Pray for us: the commute to JAARS is long and Michelle and I have
different schedules so it takes a lot of time and gas. With homeschooling and
many other family activities, we’re considering relocating. There’s a lot of
work in staging a house, but we hope to have it listed by June 1. If it sells
in today’s market, that will be our confirmation God wants us to relocate!
Thank you for your prayers and support over the past two+ years –
they make this opportunity to serve possible! Please keep us posted on how we can be praying for you! God loves
it when we come acknowledging him as the source of all (1 John 5:14).
Blessings,
Loren, Michelle, Matthew and Zack
