3/12 Update - Great Progress!

Imagine attending church as an English commoner in 1380. The Bible was in Latin so you would struggle to understand, “ut Filium suum unigenitum daret”. Through John Wycliffe’s work, God’s Word was translated and distributed in the people’s “heart” language. This way people could receive the message: “He gave His only begotten Son”.

Today, 340 million people do not have one word of the Bible in their heart language. God gave us the Scriptures to tell us who He is, who we are, why we are alive, and how we should live. He tells us about our sin, why it separates us from Him, and how Jesus Christ redeems those who accept His forgiveness. Help us deliver these messages!

WHAT CAN YOU DO?
  • PRAISE God for calling us to Wycliffe where we can use our skills to support Bible translation. We are VERY CLOSE to having the financial support needed to start our assignments at JAARS!
  • PRAY the Lord provides the remaining $990 in monthly commitments we need byMay 1. Please also pray for our family and the transitions along the next phase of this journey.
  • PARTNER: We rely on ongoing financial partners to be full-time missionaries with Wycliffe. To partner with us, you can call 1-800-WYCLIFF or contact us with the information below.

Thank you for standing with us in prayer and support!

Blessings,
Loren, Michelle, Matthew and Zack

Family friends,
Blessings are waiting for you! We asked Loren and Michelle if we could write to you to share what our participation with Wycliffe on their behalf has meant to our family.  Since we have been giving to Wycliffe, it is OUR family that has been blessed.  Blessed by supporting the Rothmanns because we have the chance to BE a blessing for a family whose lives overlap with ours. We know when we give that we are making an quantifiable impact on Loren and Michelle's call to join this ministry.  We know that the impact of our monthly pledge will change not only their lives, but the lives of Matthew and Zack as they become children of parents who are in the mission field as a vocation.
We have been a part of their faith and financial journey, our own gratitude to God growing as we have begun to cherish having something TO give.  Priceless is the blessing of seeing our own children internalize the idea of missions, not just as a far away name or face but learning that real people can serve God in many different ways as a vocation.  We have seen their excitement as they run from the mailbox, newsletter in hand saying, "Look at Matthew and Zack!  We KNOW these boys!"  I encourage you to seize this opportunity to be a blessing, being used by God to reward patience and faithfulness and you will certainly find that it is you and yours who are blessed.
